An evaluation method of an ion conductivity of a polymer electrolyte membrane having a micro phase separation structure containing a region having an ion conductive group, comprising:
a step of calculating a first passthrough critical value in the membrane thickness direction obtained at the cross-section along the membrane thickness direction and a second passthrough critical value in the membrane surface direction obtained at the cross-section in the near surface region of the polymer electrolyte membrane; and
a step of comparing the first passthrough critical value and the second passthrough critical value.
