A label 10 for resealable adhesive attachment to a film 26, the label being configured to provide selective access through the film. The label has a first region 20 configured to be permanently adhesively attached to the film and a second region 22 having first and second ends and configured to be selectively adhesively attached to the film. The second region has weaker adhesion than the first region such that lifting and resealing of the second region from the film is permitted. The second region includes at least one area 28 of deadener configured to reduce adhesion of the second region.
