Packaging material comprises: a polymer layer forming an outer side of the packaging; a gas permeable inner layer at the inner side of the packaging, comprising a porous film extrudate; and at least one intermediate layer arranged between the gas permeable layer and the outer polymer layer, which is adjacent to the gas permeable layer, comprising a volatile corrosion inhibitor.
