FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: method to produce an electrode for electrolysis of a halogen-containing solution with reduced working potential of electrolysis includes production of the electrode base from a valve metal, application of an intermediate electrolytic coating layer on it. Then the upper coating layer is applied onto the specified base made of the valve metal by means of a solution comprising at least one oxide of a transition metal selected from the group, which includes palladium oxide, rhodium oxide and cobalt oxide, in the amount of approximately 0.01 mole % to approximately 10 mole % per total content of transition metal oxides in the coating. ^ EFFECT: electrolytic coating may be used as an anode component in an electrolytic cell for electrolysis of halogen-containing solutions, the specified components reduce the working potential of the anode and eliminate the necessity in the interruption period for reduction of the anode potential. ^ 40 cl, 2 tbl, 2 ex |
