PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably deliver a liquid by preventing deterioration of a liquid quality caused by cohesion and settling of fine particles in the liquid generated in the vicinity of a delivering opening. SOLUTION: The liquid delivering apparatus comprises a liquid delivering head 50, a liquid receiving means 70, and a driving means are equipped. The liquid delivering head 50 includes the delivering openings which deliver the liquid, and actuators (energy giving elements) which give an energy to the liquid delivered from the delivering openings. The liquid receiving means 70 is opposed to a nozzle face 510 of the liquid delivering head 50, forming a liquid gathering 351 between the nozzle face 510 and the means. The driving means stirs the liquid at least in the vicinity of the delivering opening of the liquid delivering head 50 by giving a drive signal to the actuator of the liquid delivering head 50 in a state with the liquid gathering 351 formed.
