PURPOSE: A device and method for downloading a receiving limited image are provided to again recovery in a usable sate in a necessary point. CONSTITUTION: A secure channel for communicating with a download server device(100) is set. A download management module(160) communicates with a server device according to a download protocol. Through the download management module, a received receiving limited image is divided into a plurality of files. The divided plurality of file is ciphered and generates a plurality of encoded files. A receiving limited image separator stores a plurality of encoded files.
