<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation device, an installation method and an installation program for setting optimal value in each set item when installing a driver program. <P>SOLUTION: When installing a driver program, a history reference part 14 refers to the history of print setting stored in a storage part 22, and transfers the history data of the reference result to a setting determining part 16. The setting determining part 16 determines the optimal print setting to be adopted when installing the driver program based on the history data. In this case, the setting determining part 16 executes the determination processing by counting the setting frequency of each set item from the history data of the reference result.
