PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economical manufacturing process for a high slidability polyacetal resin having reduced burn, discoloration and mold staining. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process comprises melting a polyacetal copolymer immediately after polymerization with a twin-screw extruder, continuously introducing the copolymer as it is molten into a surface-renewal model horizontal reactor, devolatilizing the melt under reduced pressure at a temperature not lower than the melting point and kneading and devolatilizing the polyacetal copolymer discharged from the reactor after adding additives under reduced pressure in an extruder (B).
