The turbine has a wind rotor for actuation of an asynchronous generator (4) to output electrical power to a transformer (9) having a secondary winding (90) and a primary winding (91), to which the asynchronous generator is connected. The transformer has another primary winding (92), where an auxiliary circuit is connected with a switch (8) between the generator and the transformer in such a manner that the switch connects the generator with the primary winding (91) or the primary winding (92) depending on a switching signal. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a wind turbine. |
