A method for use in a contract manufacturing framework, comprising the steps of (a) providing (802) a database including a plurality of service provider data structures, wherein the plurality of service provider data structures include descriptions of a plurality of service providers, and wherein the database further includes a plurality of links to information,(b) identifying (804) a service provider data structure based on request data from a user, (c) identifying (806) a link based on the request data, (d) sending (808) the user the identified service provider data structure, (e) sending the user the identified link, and (f) allowing (810) the user to obtain additional information utilizing the identified link.
