摘要 PURPOSE: A process for preparing a molybdate-based red light emitting fluorescent material is provided to ensure an excellent light-emitting property while solving the disadvantages of a sulfide-based fluorescent material weak in the heat and moisture. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing a molybdate-based red light emitting fluorescent material comprises the steps of: uniformly mixing Y(NO3)3(3) and/or Gd2O3(4), MoO3(5), Eu2O3(6), and melting agent to prepare a mixture; and sintering the mixture in an electric furnace to prepare a molybdate-based red light emitting fluorescent material represented by chemical formula 1: (Gd_(1-x)Y_x)_(2-y)(MoO_4)_3:yEu. The amount of the melting agent is 1-10 weight% based on the total weight of raw materials and the sintering temperature is 850-1,000 °C.
