An apparatus comprising a rotating carousel (57) and a plurality of holding elements (71) supported by said carousel (57) and movable in relation to said carousel (57), said holding elements (71) being so shaped as to remove a container (2) from blow-moulding mould means (4), characterised in that said apparatus further comprises a plurality of further holding elements (72) associated with said holding elements (71), said further holding elements (72) being so shaped as to deliver a dose (37) of plastics to compression-moulding mould means (5), each of said further holding elements (72) being fixed to a corresponding holding element (71).
