<p>The saw has a saw blade (4) comprising a set of inner teeth. Housing comprises a whirling assembly, where the whirling assembly includes a control unit and a rotational position transducer for detecting a rotational position of the saw blade. An evaluation unit is connected with a vibration meter, the rotational position transducer, and the control unit. The control unit is set up such that the saw blade penetrates into a workpiece during a penetration process with a region of low measured vibration amplitude. A tool replacement system (5) is connected with the evaluation unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a saw blade of a ring saw.</p> |
