PURPOSE: A hanger transferring mechanism of a vertical continuous plating device for flat panels is provided to enable a rack gear to transfer a hanger in a particular direction without an error since one or more of ratchets are engaged with a rack gear. CONSTITUTION: A hanger transferring mechanism of a vertical continuous plating device for flat panels comprises a chain conveyor(1), a rack gear(3), a guide rail, a hanger(13) and rachets(33). The chain conveyor is installed along the transfer path(D) of a workpiece(W) and is operated by a driving motor in an endless track. The rack gear is connected to the chain conveyor and is operated in the same track to the chain conveyor. The guide rail is installed along the transfer path. In a state the workpiece vertically hangs, the hanger moves along the guide rail. The ratchets are installed on the hanger.
