PURPOSE: A medium and small-scale district heating system using a heat exchanger for domestic use is provided to lower down the initial investment, to lower pressure and heat losses by shortening the length of a heat transfer pipe, and to reduce operational costs and maintenance costs relatively by installing a heat exchange to each home. CONSTITUTION: A medium and small-scale district heating system using a heat exchanger for domestic use comprises: a heat source(110) producing medium temperature water using new regeneration energy; a thermal storage tank(120) storing up surplus medium temperature water produced from the heat source and releasing stored heat at the time of high heat load to take charge of peak load of a day; a heat transfer pipe(130) conveying and collecting the medium temperature water produced from the heat source or the medium temperature water stored in the thermal storage tank to the home; a main circulating pump(140) installed to the heat transfer pipe to circulate medium temperature water at the appointed pressure; and a heat exchanger(150) for domestic use installed to each home and connected with the heat transfer pipe to exchange thermally the medium temperature water supplied from the heat source or the thermal storage tank through the heat transfer pipe and to supply hot water to the home. |
