The present invention relates to a system and a method for cold start of an internal combustion engine (14), comprising a fuel-distribution gallery (2) connected to the injection nozzles (4) of the engine (14), a main fuel tank (1), for containing especially alcohol, and a start fuel tank (6), for containing especially gasoline, associated to respective main fuel pump (11) and start fuel lines. In this way, both the main fuel and the start fuel are pumped into the engine through the gallery (2). |
