PURPOSE: A thermal conductive pad and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to uniformly distribute carbon nano tubes in a polymer matrix, thereby obtaining high thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A thermal conductive pad includes a polymer matrix(400), a ceramic solid object(300) of 70~90wt%, and a carbon nano tube(200) of 1~5wt%. The ceramic solid object of 70~90wt% is included in the polymer matrix. The thermal conductivity of the ceramic solid object is 20~40W/Mk. The carbon nano tube of 1~5wt% is included in the polymer matrix and is uniformly distributed between ceramic solid objects. The ceramic solid object is made of alumina of 96~98wt% and silica of 1~5wt%. The particle of alumina has a sphere shape or an amorphous shape. When the particle of alumina has a sphere shape, the size of the particle is 5~40micrometers. When the particle of alumina has an amorphous shape, the size of the particle is 4~20micrometers. |
