PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for repairing the same are provided to repair a sub pixel of the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a gate line which transfers a gate signal, a common voltage line which transfers a common voltage, a data line which crosses the gate line and transfers data signal, a switching element which is connected to the gate line and the data line, a pixel electrode which is connected to the switching element, and a repair member(2000) which is placed between the common voltage line and the pixel electrode.
