METHOD FOR DETERMINING HOURLY CONSUMPTION OF LIQUID FUEL TO MOVE BODY IN CONDITIONS OF TECHNICAL PROPER USE OF SHIPS, IN WHICH DIESEL IS MAIN ENGINE

The invention relates to characterization of water transport. A method for determining hourly consumption of liquid fuel to move a body in conditions of technical proper use of ships, in which the main engine is a diesel consists in that by direct measurement by a tachoscope current value of crankshaft speed of selected main engine is determined. On the basis of measured volume and time of fuel consumption from a fuel tank by a formula the current value of hourly consumption of liquid fuel of selected main engine is calculated. On the basis of data known from the passport of selected main diesel relating to hourly consumption of liquid fuel, mean effective gas pressure and power at rated speed and constant coefficient of selected main diesel the current value is defined of hourly consumption of liquid fuel to move the body in terms of technical proper use of ships, in which a diesel is the main engine, according to a certain formula. Technical result: simplification of the method while improving the efficiency of main engine and ships.
