METHOD OF ENERGY-SAVING ROLLING STEEL INGOTS

A method of energy-saving rolling steel ingots includes pouring into molds and transfer of ingots into a soaking pit of a breakdown mill. The ingots with a liquid core are subject to upset and thermal treatment in the soaking pit followed by heating the load. Then stripping the ingots is made and each bar extracted from the mould is placed in the pit cell.
