The invention relates to a device and a corresponding method for the draft correction of a conveyed, in particular textile, material web (W), in which at least two flexed rolls (3, 4) are provided in a machine frame (2), the free ends (3', 3", 4', 4") of said flexed rolls being connected to each other by means of a holding plate (5, 6) respectively. According to the invention, both holding plates (5, 6) are disposed opposite of one another and are rotatably mounted about a common rotational axis (D) on the machine frame (2).
