The invention relates to a molten salt solar panel for use in towers and to a method for reducing the thermal gradient of said panel. The panel comprises at least one semi-cylindrical panel, consisting of a set of vertical pipes. The panel (10) is supplied with a heat-transfer fluid consisting of molten salts from a circulating system including a mixing tank (6), a hot salt storage tank (9) and a cold salt storage tank (8); the mixing tank (6) is supplied with some of the heat-transfer fluid (4) from the panel (10) and with cold heat-transfer fluid (5) from the cold salt storage tank (8). The hot salt storage tank is connected to the outlet of the panel (10) in such a way that said tank stores the non-recirculating portion (3) of the heat-transfer fluid.
