<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of achieving high image quality, and to provide a method for driving the same and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: When video signal voltage Vsig is written, a scanning line-driving circuit 23 finishes application of a selection pulse to a scanning line WSL in an application period of the video signal voltage Vsig. The application period is adjusted so that the application period of the selection pulse may be longer by delaying application finish timing of the selection pulse according as a distance from a signal line-driving circuit 24 in an extending direction of a signal line DTL to each pixel 11 gets longer. Variation of display luminance according to a pixel position is reduced or avoided, and deterioration in image quality (the occurrence of what is called a shading phenomenon in a perpendicular direction, or the occurrence of display irregularity) in accordance with the pixel position is reduced or avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
