<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rising characteristics of output voltage in a power supply device that adopts a piezoelectric transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The high-voltage power supply device includes, for example, a pulse generating means, a piezoelectric transformer, a detecting means, a control means, and a storage means. The pulse generating means generates a pulse signal with a predetermined frequency set by the control means. The piezoelectric transformer outputs a voltage, according to the frequency of the pulse signal. The detecting means detects the output voltage of the piezoelectric transformer. The control means controls the pulse-generating means so as to stepwise increase or decrease the frequency of the pulse signal, until the output voltage becomes equal to a target voltage set as a target value for the output voltage. The storage means stores the data indicating the frequency, when the output voltage reaches the target voltage. The control means keeps the output voltage at the target voltage, by controlling the pulse generating means using the frequency values stored in the storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
