LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage characteristics and low temperature output characteristics in a lithium secondary battery using a transition metal oxy-anion compound to contain lithium such as LiFePO4as a positive electrode active material.

SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode to contain the lithium-containing transition metal oxy-anion compound as the positive electrode active material; a negative electrode to contain amorphous carbon-covered graphite as a negative electrode active material; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. In the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, vinylene carbonate and solvent and/or solute decomposed at a nobler potential than that of vinylene carbonate are contained.
