<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which prevents deterioration in printing quality caused by an increase of toner deposition on a developing roller functioning as a developing member, due to the heat from a fixing unit. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image carrier; the developing member constituted to supply toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier and make the image visualized; and the fixing unit configured to heat the visible toner image transferred from the image carrier onto printing paper, and fix the image on the printing paper. A plurality of image carriers and a plurality of developing members are provided according to the number of toner colors, and among the developing members, the surface roughness of the developing member whose surface temperature becomes equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature due to the heat of the fixing unit is made lower than that of the developing member whose surface temperature is below the predetermined temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
