PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment method which can reduce the amount of an inorganic coagulant used in waste water treatment and obtain good water quality.
SOLUTION: In a coagulation treatment method for waste water where the inorganic coagulant (A) and a water-soluble weak cationic polymer (B) are added to waste water at the same time or in arbitrary order and then a polymer coagulant (C) is added, thereby generating coagulated flocs to solid-liquid separate them, the water-soluble weak cationic polymer (B) essentially contains a quaternary methyl chloride salt of dimethylaminoethyl (meth)acrylate as a cationic monomer unit, and an acrylamide as a nonionic monomer unit, wherein the total content of these compounds is 90 wt.% or more, the content of the cationic monomer unit is 5-30 wt.%, and the intrinsic viscosity of the polymer is 1-18 dL/g.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
