摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an X-ray computer tomographic apparatus achieving a TV (total variation) minimization iterative reconstruction algorithm applicable to parallel computation as well. <P>SOLUTION: A data acquisition circuit 104 collects projection data. A reconstruction device 114 reconstructs image volume based on the projection data. The reconstruction device 114 groups the projection data into a plurality of subsets, each of which includes a certain number of views. The reconstruction device 114 performs an OS-SART (ordered subset simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique) on each of the plurality of subsets in a parallel manner to update the image volume. The reconstruction device 114 determines a gradient step value according to a predetermined rule after the OS-SART is completed.
