PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably clean a door rail of an elevator and the like for a long period and to reduce the time and effort for maintenance. SOLUTION: A door rail cleaning device includes holders 5 rotatably supported to a moving body 2 engaged with the door rail 1 and reciprocatingly moving and taking a cleaning position and retreating position according to a turning angle, cleaning bodies 6 fixed to the holders, abutted upon the door rail in the cleaning position, and departing from the door rail in the retreating position, locking means maintaining the retreating position when the holders are turned to the retreating position, engaging elements A 7 abutting upon the holders and turning the holders to the retreating position when the moving body reaches one end in the moving direction, and engaging elements B 8 abutting upon the holders, disengaging the locking means, and turning the holders to the cleaning position when the moving body reaches the other end in the moving direction.
