<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery control method, and an electronic equipment, which can reliably detect wrong charge and discharge when a battery pack is charged and discharged by being taken out from an electronic equipment body. <P>SOLUTION: The battery control method includes: a means for recording terminal voltage of a secondary battery together with a present time as time stamp information in a memory of the battery pack for each fixed period in the electronic equipment body operated with a secondary battery as a drive source while the memory is arranged on the battery pack with the secondary battery and the battery pack is detachably mounted on the electronic equipment body; and a means for determining whether or not the battery pack is kept removed over a constant period by reading out the latest time stamp information from the memory of the battery pack at the time of starting, and further, determining whether or not charge and discharge of the secondary battery are carried out during a removed period of the battery pack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
