<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an optimal user interface on a touch panel according to an orientation in which a user holds a housing. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is provided which includes the housing, a display screen 103, the touch panel 105 disposed on the display screen, an operator displayed on the display screen and operated through the touch panel, status detection means 109, 111 for detecting changes of the status of the housing, a status determination unit 121 for determining the change of status of the housing detected by the status detection means, and a display control unit 123 for displaying an operator in a desired location on the display screen according to the determination result of the status determination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
