PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire suppressing vehicle exterior noise caused by air column resonance noise and effectively reducing vehicle interior noise. SOLUTION: At least one circumferential main groove 2 continuously extending in the tread circumferential direction and circumferential auxiliary grooves 4 intermittently extending in the tread circumferential direction in a land 3 adjacent to the circumferential main groove and opened toward the circumferential main groove 2 via each inclined groove 5 are arranged on a tread ground contact surface 1. The circumferential auxiliary grooves 4 and the inclined grooves 5 serve as a resonator for reducing noise generated by air column resonance within a tube formed of the circumferential main groove 2 and a road surface.
