PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer assembly structure of a meter device enabling illumination light from a light source transmitted through a rotating shaft to be emitted from a pointer efficiently without being leaked. SOLUTION: This pointer assembly structure of the meter device has a constitution wherein the depth (D) of a fitting hole 93 provided in a boss 92 and the projection length (H) of the boss from the back of the pointer satisfy a relation D>H which is a second conditional expression for preventing leakage light, and the length (R<SB>1</SB>) of a part pressed into the inside of the fitting hole of the rotating shaft 92 and the projection length (H) of the boss satisfy a relation R<SB>1</SB>≥H which is a first conditional expression for preventing leakage light.
