PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip-proof slide switch with a lock mechanism, having simple construction for actualizing high drip-proofness. SOLUTION: The slide switch includes: an operation member 2 slidable relative to a base member 1, and having a shaft portion 2b extending from the knob part and passing through a hole portion of the base member; a lock member 6 having a first protruded portion 6b inserted into an unlocking operation hole portion 2a of the knob part and a second protruded portion 6a engaging with recessed portions 1d, 1e of the base member to prevent the slide of the operation member; a water repellent cover member 3 fitted into the unlocking operation hole portion to cover a front end area of the first protruded portion; a first water repellent sheet member 4 adhered to the reverse of the knob part of the operation member; a second water repellent sheet member 5 adhered to a region of the base member where the operation member slides; and elastic members 7, 8 for energizing the lock member in the direction of the first protruded portion to engage with the recessed portions and for energizing the operation member in the direction of the first sheet member to be pressed against the second sheet member, respectively.
