The invention relates to a method for fixing a bearing ring (1) on or in a component (2) by means of an adhesive connection. In order to improve the fixing process between the bearing ring and the component, the invention provides the following steps: a) applying the adhesive (3) to a surface (4) of the bearing ring (1) that is intended for adhesive bonding to the component (2); b) allowing the adhesive (3) to pre-cure on the surface (4), with the result that the adhesive (3) no longer has an adhesive property; c) joining the bearing ring (1) and the component (2) in the desired relative position; d) activating the adhesive (3) in such a way that it produces an adhesive bond between the bearing ring (1) and the component (2).
