THE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FOCUSING THE SOUND USING THE ARRAY SPEAKER

PURPOSE: A device for focusing a sound using an array speaker and a method thereof are provided to generate an output signal by reflecting the performance features to an array speaker during a focusing process of the array speaker. CONSTITUTION: A focusing information extracting unit(100) extracts focusing information about a sound emitting feature of an array speaker(160). A harmonic signal generating unit(110) generates a harmonic signal. The harmonic signal generating unit adjusts the generation degree of the harmonic signal and the strength of the harmonic signal using the focusing information. The harmonic signal generating unit includes a signal generating unit which generates a harmonic signal with a high-order harmonic component about a low frequency sound signal. A low frequency component adding unit(120) generates a harmonic signal generating unit sound signal by adding a gain by a frequency band of a low frequency sound signal.
