PURPOSE: An elastic blend composition is provided to obtain a monolayer elastomeric film without the problem of blocking but still keeping the desirable elasticity of a film. CONSTITUTION: A polymer blend composition comprises: (a) an ethylene/α-olefin block interpolymer produced using a chain shuttling catalyst, wherein the interpolymer has (i) an average block index greater than zero and up to about 1.0, and (ii) a molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn greater than about 1.3; and (b) a high density polyethylene polymer having a density greater than about 0.940 g/cm^3, wherein the blend composition comprises from about 70 wt% to about 90 wt% of the ethylene/α-olefin block interpolymer and from about 10 wt% to about 30 wt% of the high density polyethylene polymer, based on the total combined weight of the ethylene/α-olefin block interpolymer and the high density of polyethylene polymer.
