<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device having a superior deodorization efficiency by further improving the discharge efficiency of a discharge means. <P>SOLUTION: This deodorizing device includes: the discharge means which has a discharge electrode 30 and counter electrodes disposed in a ventilation path where air circulates, and generates high-voltage discharge between the discharge electrode and the counter electrodes to generate ozone and ultraviolet ray; and photocatalyst modules which are disposed between the discharge electrode and the counter electrodes and decompose decomposing objects contained in the air circulating in the ventilation path, by photocatalytic operation. The discharge electrode has a planar shape and has first projections 40 and second projections 42 projecting along the plate surface, wherein the projecting-directional length L1 of the first projection is three or more times of the projecting-directional length L2 of the second projection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
