PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system and an alarm, with which a user can identify whether an alarm having raised an alarm is an alarm of association origin or one of association destination after stopping the alarm and can easily specify the fire cause such as a fire source or progress of the fire. SOLUTION: In this alarm system 1, a plurality of house alarms 10 each detecting abnormality in a monitoring area and each raising the alarm are made to raise the alarms interlockingly with each other. When at least one of the plurality of house alarms 10 detects abnormality and raises the alarm and thus the plurality of house alarms 10 alarms and if all or some of the house alarms 10 of association origin restore, the plurality of house alarms 10 outputs identification so that the user can identify all or some of the house alarms 10 of the association origin out of the plurality of house alarms 10 and/or that the user can identify all or some of the house alarms 10 restored after raising the alarm out of the plurality of house alarms 10.
