PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition that has excellent gas barrier properties and achieves reduced gels or fish eyes. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition includes a polyamide obtained by performing polycondensation of a diamine including 70 mol% or more of metaxylylenediamine and a dicarboxylic acid component, and an alkaline compound (A), wherein the sum of twice of the alkaline earth metal concentration and the alkali metal concentration in the polyamide resin composition is 9-45μmol/g.
