PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-durable obstacle pin for a pinball game machine, a pinball game machine that has this highly-durable obstacle pin, and a method for manufacturing and a die for molding a highly-durable obstacle pin. SOLUTION: The obstacle pin 100 for a pinball game machine has a head 110 and a shaft 120. The shaft 120 includes: a ball striking portion 122 integrated with the head 110; a leading end 124 held in the game board of the pinball game machine; and an intermediate portion 126 located between the ball striking portion 122 and the leading end 124. The intermediate portion 126 has a diameter equal to or smaller than the outside diameterϕ2 of the ball striking portion 122 and has hardness greater than the ball striking portion 122.
