Disclosed is a lens barrel wherein the performance of a plastic lens is prevented from deteriorating due to a regulating force applied to the plastic lens. The lens barrel (111) is provided with a seventh lens (231), and a third lens group holding frame (226) which holds the seventh lens (231). The seventh lens (231) has an optically effective region (402), an outer circumferential section (404), and first to third recessed sections (406a-406c) that are provided on the outer circumferential section (404). The third lens group holding frame (226) has first to third pins (301a-301c) which engage with the first to third recessed sections (406a-406c), respectively. First to third engaging sections (500a-500c) respectively have freedom in the radius direction with the optical axis of the seventh lens (231) at the center, and do not have freedom in the circumferential direction.
