摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when welding is performed while two electrodes are aligned, one degree of freedom of a welding robot is restricted, that is, the degree of freedom of the operation as the welding robot is degraded, and as a result, the posture of the robot at a welding part is constrained to narrow the available welding range. SOLUTION: In the welding method, the movement of a single electrode (18a) by a welding robot system (a) is followed by the movement of a single electrode (18b) by another welding robot system (b). By constructing the single electrode (18a) of one welding robot system (a) and the single electrode (18b) of the other welding robot system (b) to perform welding simultaneously in the same direction on the same welding line, the degrees of freedom of the robots are not restricted, the available welding range becomes wide, and constraints on the posture of the robots are eliminated, compared with a case where a tandem welding-dedicated torch is used.
