PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device including a composition that prevents dropping of liquid caused by liquid pressure variation due to inertia in a liquid supply path. SOLUTION: A space supplied with recording liquid from a main tank includes a negative pressure chamber 101 as a supply chamber that causes ink to move toward a nozzle and a pressure control chamber 110 communicated with the negative pressure chamber 101 via a communication part that can open/close provided for the negative pressure chamber 101. The pressure control chamber 110 includes a pressure resistor 122 that reduces the speed of the recording liquid when pressure rises in the supply path of the recording liquid, and volume changing members 113, 114 that are provided on at least a side of the communication part with respect to the pressure resistor 122 in the flow direction of the recording liquid, for performing decompression by deceleration and volume enlargement.
