<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air removal structure for an oil tank which is configured to prevent oil leakage and securely remove air, without excessively complicating an air removal passage. <P>SOLUTION: The air removal structure for an oil tank is mounted in a vehicle and has a tank body 10 with a supply port 12 for supplying oil 70, and a cap 20 fitted over the supply port 12. The structure includes: an air removal hole 40 formed in the tank body 10; an air removal passage 45 formed between the cap 20 and the supply port 12; and a cover plate 30 fixed to the end of a rib 16 projecting inward around at least the supply port 12 on the internal surface of the tank body 10, and provided to shield an area immediately below the air removal hole 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
