摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin precursor for binder to be used for the electrode of a secondary battery which develops performances including a discharge capacity, output characteristics and cycle characteristics in a well balanced manner, as required for a hybrid or electric automobile power supply, and to provide resin precursor solution and a binder composition. <P>SOLUTION: The resin precursor for the binder to be used for forming an active material layer on a collector to form the electrode of a lithium secondary battery is characterized by containing a predetermined 50 mol% or more polyimide resin precursor, and the resin precursor solution includes organic solvent contained therein.
