The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating auxiliary power for hybrid vehicles. The apparatus for generating auxiliary power for hybrid vehicles according to the present invention comprises: a differential gear drivingly connected to rear wheels of the vehicle; a rotating shaft, which is drivingly connected to the rear wheels through the differential gear and rotatably connected to the differential gear; a motor for providing power of the rotating shaft, the motor having a driven shaft connected to the rotating shaft and a drive shaft to be connected to and released from the driven shaft; and a (motor side) clutch for drivingly connecting and disconnecting the drive shaft and driven shaft of the motor.
