LINK ADAPTATION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM

Provided is a link adaptation method performed by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system in which a multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) is supported. According to the present invention, the link adaptation method comprises: receiving a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) request, a steered sounding physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU), which is beamformed to the station, and a MIMO indicator comprising MU-MIMO-related information from an access point (AP); and transmitting feedback information comprising an MCS acquired from the steered sounding PPDU and MU-MIMO-related information to the AP in response to the MCS request.
