NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION FOR SECONDARY BATTERY AND SECONDARY BATTERY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery suppressing deterioration of repeating charge/discharge characteristics (cycle characteristics) of a battery and excellent in low temperature discharge characteristics as well.

SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery is composed of a nonaqueous solvent made of at least two or more kinds in which lithium salt is contained. The nonaqueous solvent contains at least one or more kinds of asymmetrical chain-shaped carbonates and moreover a content ratio of the asymmetrical chain-shaped carbonate occupied in the whole of the nonaqueous solvent is 5 vol.% or more and 90 vol.% or less, and moreover difluorophosphate is contained by 10 ppm or more against the total mass of the electrolyte solution.
