PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrolytic refining capable of preventing degradation of an adhesive between a base plate and an edge strip even during the use for a long period, and excellently suppressing copper electrodeposition on both ridges of the base plate, and an electrolytic refining method using the same. SOLUTION: The electrode 10 for electrolytic refining includes a base plate 20, and an edge strip 40 which is provided along both ridges 21 of the base plate so as to cover the both ridges 21, and adhered to the both ridges 21 with a urethane adhesive 30.
